Dominant Drukpa FC Crush Paro FC 3-0 Away from Home

Drukpa FC delivered their most impressive performance of the season so far with a comprehensive 3-0 demolition of Paro FC at Paro Stadium.

Biren Kumar Basnet was the star of the show, netting twice in the first half to put the game beyond doubt before the break. His first was a powerful header from a Sonam Tobgay corner, and his second a clinical finish after a blistering counter-attack.

Karma Tshewang added the cherry on top in the 67th minute with a spectacular long-range strike that crashed in off the crossbar, sending the travelling Drukpa FC supporters into raptures.

The result sees Drukpa FC climb to the top of the BPL table with a perfect record of two wins from two matches. The team has scored five goals and conceded just one — the best defensive record in the league.

"We're building something special here," said midfielder Passang Tshering. "Every player is fighting for the badge, and it shows on the pitch."
